Each year in April, the baseball world pauses to reflect on the life and legacy of Jackie Robinson who, in April of 1947, integrated the modern era of Major League Baseball. The Negro Leauges Baseball Museum will mark this anniversay with a historic two part program in the Coors Field of Legends exhibition area.

PART I:

Discussion and Book Signing with Dr. MICHAEL G. LONG, editor of "FIRST CLASS CITIZENSHIP: THE CIVIL RIGHTS LETTERS OF JACKIE ROBINSON," with special guest moderator R. CROSBY KEMPER, III, Executive Director of the Kansas City Public Library.

The event is included with your paid admission to the Negro Leagues Baeball Museum. Museum members may enter free by presenting their membership card. "FIRST CLASS CITIZENSHIP" will be available for purchase at the EXTRA INNING MUSEUM STORE.

10:00 am, Saturday, April 10, 2010 on the Coors Field of Legends. Seating will be limited.
