The Original Eight

Dayton Marcos

One of the original franchises when the Negro National League was formed in 1920. They withdrew from the league after the initial season and fielded a league team in only one other year, 1926 registering a dismal .179 winning percentage.

In their other years of existence, they played as an independent ballclub and were generally below the league standard of play.
