a celebration 16 years in the making!

Buck is finally where he belongs – in the National Baseball Hall of Fame – 16 years after missing by one vote! To celebrate this milestone occasion, we’re hosting the “THANKS A MILLION, BUCK” Hall of Fame Gala SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH at 8PM

celebrating John jordan "buck" o'neil

Buck O’Neil dedicated his illustrious life to the beautiful game of baseball as a player, manager, scout, coach, and founder of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. It helped him become the sport’s greatest ambassador. But it was his spirit as a human being that endeared him to legions of fans worldwide.

Join us as we salute a true American Hero with an all-star roster of baseball legends and other sports greats. Enjoy an amazing evening of food, drinks, and music in celebration of Buck’s Hall of Fame career. Most importantly, proceeds from the gala will support the NLBM and the completion of the Buck O’Neil Education and Research Center, that will be housed in the Paseo YMCA, the historic landmark where the Negro National League was established in by Andrew “Rube” Foster in 1920.
